I think it'd be good to have a minute or two more. As far as I can tell, this type of quiz is not really supposed to be about fighting the clock, and I ran out of time.

@y2jdilemma: sorry there was a typo. @Togtdyalttai: the time has been well and truly extended.

I got [#42] because I knew it was directly below [#24] and so I was sure it wouldn't be past 50 (I didn't know their exact numbers, though). Felt all proud of myself and all that jazz. By the end of the quiz, I had all the elements in the third column except for one that I just couldn't come up with. Yeah, you guessed it, #24... Massive, massive facepalm when I checked the periodic table after finishing... And all this while taking a break from studying for a Materials exam that's entirely about metals, and #24 is probably the third or fourth most mentioned element...

@Flick Is this quiz broken? I typed in the 50 elements and the quiz didn't end and there was a 0 at the end that I had no idea what to type in for, and the quiz should end after I type in the first 50 elements.

Sproutcm is right. The quiz doesn't seem to want to end once I've finished typing in the 50 elements

I've added a game note. On this quiz the maximum is 50 (so well done both) the extra box shows the incorrect answer and it's number in the periodic table. So you can press the 'Give up' or if you want to go out in a blaze of glory type in element number 51.

When I get the a answer, it takes away helium and replaces it with the MINE, instead of replacing Still Safe.

I think the minefield in a minefield quiz has to be the FIRST space, or it will replace a correct answer.
