This is fun, but difficult. I kept thinking that #7 had to be
Samson et Dalila

Very fun, but some of the posters are just too abstract. Thanks God the answers had not to be guessed in order! :)

Great quiz! I would've never guessed #4, it doesn't quite make sense? #30 looks obvious but I didn't get that before the time ran out. I randomly typed and got #25. Overall, got 19 out of 30. Thanks! :)

I tried "Romeo et Juliette" but it didn't take it. I just figured I was wrong ... didn't think to try it in English.

Oh my god! I was just about to post that I thought #7 was Samson and Delilah too!! How funny is that! Anyway, great quiz. Love the art work.

Most of the titles starting with definite articles don't require them, as per Sporcle conventions, e.g. Boheme, Traviata, but Die Fledermaus and L'Elisir d'Amore wouldn't register without them. Oversight or what? Great artwork. I also thought #7 was "Samson et Dalila."

@askf: oversight I'm afraid. I've added your suggestions. I have just looked at google images to see if the 'Samson et Dalila' posters use the same artwork, it appears they don't
