Even at five minutes, it almost adds another layer; you need to be able to know what it is quickly, and then quickly zero in on the answer. Really like it, though. On a quiz like this, it kind of defeats the purpose if you have a ton of time to stop and go through the answers.

One, two, three, four, _______. I thought that was a trick question. It's a nursery rhyme?

Great quiz, although some of them I have never even heard of. @chriskotx: It is a nursery rhyme. The first line goes "One, two, three, four, five, once I caught a fish alive." I can't remember how it ends, though.

Almost ashamed to admit... I saw "I'm a little _____" and immediately looked in the S's for s_l_u_t. It was not there.

I was caught out with "Ding Dong _" because I've always known it as Ding Dong Dell. Apparently it's known as both, but I'll remember for next time!

@kerplunk - It ends of course with "six, seven, eight, nine, ten, then I let it go again" (well, actually it continues: "Why did you let it go? Because it bit my finger so. Which finger did it bite? This little finger on the right").

I failed at this quiz because I spent most of my time laughing at new ones I came up with using the answers, like "one two buckle my diddle".

so i over-complicated things, but thinking we had to guess the VERY last word of the nursery rhyme, DUH. Although that might be a fun (albeit much more difficult) sequel!

I think you should improve the title and/or the instructions. Like others I spent quite a bit of time to start with going through the whole rhyme to remember the last word of the RHYME rather than the last word of the TITLE and was then puzzled when I couldnt find it in the answers.

I didn't have any problems with it and I enjoyed it but the title seems misleading to me. I don't consider many of these "nursery rhymes". They're children's songs. Like Itsy Bitsy Spider and Freres Jacques and Row Row Row Your Boat. I never learned them as anything but songs or recall reading them in any nursery rhyme books.

I would also add that the title is misleading - I was about a minute into the quiz before I worked out what was actually going on.

@BonnieH: but nursery rhymes are poems and songs for children. I wouldn't call the title misleading at all, and I fully expected a lot of these to be on here from both sides. Nursery Rhymes aren't just poems for children.

This is one of those quizzes on which scoring 100% is probably something to be ashamed of... I did think the Farmer in the Dock would make an interesting one.

Why is it that when I start saying "rain rain go away, come again some other day", the only thing in my head to finish it is "if you don't I don't care, I'll just steal your underwear". Never realized the trick or treat saying sounded so similar.
