	catherinelucia: they are fair enough complaints. In the UK, we would never have guessed that film, whereas it could have been "The _________ Stone" and it would be more fair. I don't mind not including the "Harry Potter and the" to make it harder, but if you're going to use one, at least use the original (or just accept either by rearranging it).

	Does anyone know the reasoning behind changing it from Philosopher's to Sorcerer's in the first place? I can only assume to make it sound more exciting.

	@sconeyj and @Waterice_Man - basically, yes. Not 'Americans,' per se, but that the American publisher Scholastic Co. did not want to market a book containing the word 'philosopher' to children. It was a different marketing decision, really, that's all. Honestly, I think at this point everyone is aware of the different titles for the first book/movie of the Harry Potter series. I don't think answering a question about the 'Sorcerer's' stone in a quiz made by an American, or 'Philosopher's' in a quiz made by a British person, is all that difficult. Particularly when the movie was directed by an American and acted by Brits. We work together, remember? :)

	I've got problems with 'Life of Brian' being here. All the others have a thread of story or characters that run from one movie to the next. 'Life of Brian' does not. By your logic, 'Club Dred' and 'Beerfest' would be part of a series with 'Super Troopers.'

	Saint in New York should also work. Granted, The Saint movies are over 60 years old, but it would still be considered a "franchise" by today's interpretation.
