Madison is a US State Capital. "Much ado about nothing" is a Shakespeare play.

Should accept "Mediterranean" on its own, without "Avenue", for the Monopoly property.

I tried "minus" for mathematical operation, but that was my stupidity - it should not be accepted. But then I tried "modulo" and "modulus", and those were not accepted. I think they should be.

I like that you accept properties from the British monopoly board, not just the American one. I've never heard of 'Marvin Gardens' but anyone brought up on the British edition will get 'Mayfair'.

Did you really put all the Beatles songs in there, or just the ones you could think of? "Mr. Moonlight" is a Beatles song...

Mr. Moonlight is not a Beatles song. The Beatles did cover it, but if that makes it their song, then Roy Lee Johnson would be very sad. I personally chose Maxwell's Silver Hammer. But there are plenty of options: Magical Mystery Tour, Misery, and Mean Mr. Mustard off the top of my head.

In true Sporcle style, the first US President I tried was "Millard Fillmore" and he wasn't accepted. But "Minerva" was accepted on her own for the final category? That's a bit inconsistent.

@prouvaire - A few things. The quiz maker probably wanted to make it easier on people who can't spell McGonagall thus accepting Minerva which is also an M. Fillmore, however, does not start with an M making it an incorrect answer. If her name were Minerva Johnson, then Minerva wouldn't be acceptable either.

Good quiz, and I really enjoyed it. I do think you should have allowed 'Matilda' for English Monarch, though. I know there was a civil war going on, but she was generally recognised as being queen in 1141.

@MaxMallanite: "genuses (genii?)" "Genuses" works, but "genera" is the traditional plural of "genus".

Matilda is never listed as an English Monarch as she was never crowned. Stephen of Blois is listed as monarch for the period 1135–1154. But I never knew that until I just looked it up!
