	Loved it! I like that it was harder than usual to fill in missing gaps. How would you feel about accepting "stick" as well, for the first answer? The 'sharp' bit had me thinking needles, somehow.

	Some of these clues are either obtuse, or just use some really obscure definitions for the words they're asking for, namely: "A light sharp contact"-- this is just a really weird way to word the definition for this word. "Make a search (for)" -- the clue should probably be for the noun version of the word instead. "Having a burning enthusiasm" -- the word in question really isn't much about the 'enthusiasm' part here. "A heavy sharp contact" -- "sharp" doesn't sound right at all-- it's more like a dull, hard paddling.

	2-letter ladders: No sir, I don't like it. Found myself just solving clues straight up rather than using words around the answers. Just my opinion.

	This might as well not be a word ladder because you really can't use the surrounding words to solve clues you can't get, when changing 2 letters the clues need to be much better

	This was a lot harder after doing the regular word ladders for so long. Very challenging. Of course I wanted, at times, to flick, brick, slap, and whack the creator of this puzzle. Thanks for a great puzzle.

	Loved the added difficulty! And you definitely can use the words around a word to figure out the answer; that was how I worked backward to get STRUT and FIEND, among others.

	I like that having the words either side of a tricky clue doesn't immediately give you the answer without having the think, unlike the standard ladders.

	@Flick & Sporcle admin: I am normally quick at solving the daily word ladders, most in less than 1 minute. I say that because I could have used 1 more minute (5 total) for this one. This is very challenging--but I love it. You can't please everybody, as multiple commenters have loved and disliked this quiz.

	Another voice here on the “love” side. Much more challenging than a regular ladder; but still the same flavour of a ladder — I definitely found myself working backwards in a couple of places. Compared to a regular ladder, it’s maybe more important to keep a good proportion of the clues straightforward in this style — a stretch of several obscure clues in a row would be very tough. But this one really worked for me :-)

	Fairies AREN'T evil? Oh. I thought about doing one of these before (similar anyway) but never followed through with it. The thing is, with five letters there is only one letter in common between the two words either side of one you can't get. When I was going to do it, I was going to use six letters but not make the changes consecutive letters. Would that be any good?
