	Could you please clarify how you are defining "oldest?" Are you holding to a constitution or some other document? I could think of several current countries who would seem to be older, but it would help if I knew what your criteria were. Thanks.

	Also, I'm taking it 'poorest/richest' is GDP per capita? It'd also be worth pointing out in the instructions that 'lowest/highest' refers to a highest/lowest point, not the average of the whole country, and whether 'hottest/coldest' refers to a single, all-time recorded temperature (which I think this is), not to an annual average.

	how could bulgaria be older than an of these countries, it gained full independence in 1908.

	Founded in about 681, Bulgaria is actually one of the oldest states in Europe.

	Serbia was founded in 768, yet you list it as one of the youngest countries in the world. I don't see why you would put Bulgaria as one of the oldest states when they clearly haven't been independent for all that time until 2011 (much like Serbia).

	@Nobbe - Good point. I guess I was thinking of it more in terms of coastline length = 0 miles, versus the coastline being nonexistent.

	CIA world fact book lists the oldest countries as Ethiopia (~100 BCE), San Marino (301), France (486), Denmark (965), and Portugal (1143). It lists Bulgaria's dates as 1878 (as an autonomous principality)and 1908 (complete independence).
