Seeing Kyrgyzstan once on a quiz is awesome enough, but TWICE??? Hell yeah!!!

Figures, I got the 3 more obscure H capitals but missed the two most obvious ones. Sporclitis!

You know you're a Sporcler when you see 'Capital cities beginning with H', and the first thing that pops into your head is Honiara.

I'm curious why you choose to ignore that "Y" is used as a vowel in 3 of the 4 countries listed in the question. Yes, Y is frequently a consonant, but the fact that you have declared it to be a consonant in this quiz does not change the fact that it is used as a vowel in 3 of those 4 countries. Why not find some other question to use for the "4 countries" part of the quiz rather than artificially make one by ignoring how "Y" is truly used in those country names?

@adhair: sure thing @amwoods13: I tried to write a quiz that would have Kyrgyzstan as the only answer that appeared twice. One of the incredible things about the word is that despite having 10 letters, a vowel (not including 'Y') only appears once, hence the question.

There's nothing really incredible about it because it is a 10-letter word with 3 vowels since both Ys are used as vowels. Y getting used as a vowel is very common. Anyway, my point is that you have 9 good, real categories, and 1 artificial category by including that list. This would be a lot better quiz if you used something real for the list of 4. If Kyrgyzstan needs to be on here twice, sure you can find a real way to use it again.

Agree on the use of the 'Y' category. Always going to be controversial...

Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei do indeed share Borneo! There is no absolutely need for those quotation marks.

It annoys me when I read questions such as "5 Capital Cities" and I have to guess if it's world or US...especially when another question refers to "States"...US. Is it really too much to ask to add the word "World" or "U.S."?

@Reywas92: It's also the only island that's shared by three countries. Yay for intra-island diversity.

@pfrijitr That is unless Northern Cyprus were to become a country one day, splitting the island between Northern Cyprus, Cyprus and the UK.

Too smart for my own good. "Oh no, everyone knows the Maldives are in Asia, while the Seychelles and Comoros are in Africa. [Pauses to stroke beard and light pipe.] Well, I can be satisfied knowing that I haven't wasted my time typing in an answer that I know will be wrong. Hmm, I do wonder what that one smallest country is that I'm missing..."

Bolivia and Paraguay both have navies despite being landlocked (Bolivia uses Lake Titicaca and Paraguay uses the Paraguay and ParanĂ¡ rivers). What I didn't realise before was that this means every single South American country has some kind of navy. Fairly interesting.

I liked the quiz quite a bit, but I wish that Kyrgyzstan wasn't a double answer. The quiz author did a great job of having unique answers except that one. Maybe try to come up with some other question to ask where there's only one answer?

Can you clarify in the instructions whether it is the smallest country in terms of population vs. area?? I'm still not really sure what 'smallest' means (I'm assuming area?).
