Please let my know if any question is a little bit too 'naughty'. I did try to finish with a clean one! ;)

Nice quiz and well done. Have never heard of the Belgium, Chinese, and Japanese answers, though.

I question the 'Indian' answer, as it's not really connected to subcontinental India

Lowbill: I'd never heard of those three either. I'd also never heard the term "Mexican wave" before; in the US it's just called "the wave".

Also, is it "Belgium" or "Belgian" bun? Most of the web references I see use the possessive rather than the demonym.

Mexican:

Was I the only one to first try "stand-off"?
If "Belgium/Belgian Bun" is a problem, stick to desserts and get a "Belgian waffle".
You could also narrow the first two columns to leave more room for the Clue column. 25%/25%/50% should work.

Thanks rockgolf. I weep for the loss of my Belgium bun, but that was ever the case. ;) I love the subtle differences between the supposedly English speaking nations, it shows that we only 'think' we're speaking the same language. Vive la différence

Where I come from an "English" breakfast would simply be called "bacon and eggs" or "breakfast", all the toast and stuff on the side being implied. substituting tomatoes for potatoes of course... I've never heard a few of the others either. Learn something new every day!

It's a fairly famous Monty Python sketch. I'm sure you can Google it or find it on YouTube.

I think kudzu should be accepted for Japanese. If you've ever been in the southern US, you'll know why.
