	People really need to mix things up with the books they use in Literature quizes. I answered at least half of them (13 to be exact) before I even looked at the questions knowing what a typical Sporcle quiz contains. Go a little bit outside the comfort zone on some of them, eh?

	There aren't that many books out there that are familiar to more than a tiny segment of the population. Arthur Dent is one of the central characters of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which is one of the most popular books out there...and yet less than a third of quiz-takers guessed that one right. So I don't think that there are that many options.

	@Mathew Ferry: Frodo certainly isn't in "the Hobbit" at all. The first-named character is mentioned initially thus "...and his name was Baggins." But on the following page his first name is introduced - and it is Bilbo.

	Of course, the order in which the first two names turn up in the Iliad is dependent on which translation you're using, but in the original Greek, Achilles is definitely second. His father, Peleus, gets in one word sooner.

	hey morons, read the questions before u make a comment. In the Catcher in the Rye, 1st paragraph, holden is describing his childhood as like David Copperfields (dickens, not the magician, i am assuming), so david copperfield is the first name mentioned.

	Probably not necessary as nobody will know it and not Hitchhikers, but I know at least Life the Universe and Everything mentions Dent first (by full name at that) as well; if you could change it now I'd allow all the books from the series that do so. Still, nice selection, good quiz.
