| Not near enough time. Maybe 2 minutes. |
 | Flick: | Nov 29th, 2010 at 21:49 GMT | | 5 points |
| OK 2 minute version now available (see link) |
 | cantthinkofaname: | May 28th, 2011 at 06:07 GMT | | 6 points |
| That link is to the "last" version. |

| @Flick: Great game. But a little more time would ben nice. I'm typing casually away having guessed five countries when suddenly I see :20 left!! |
 | mikeindex: | Aug 14th, 2011 at 08:11 GMT | | 3 points |
| One minute is certainly challenging - but aren't quizzes meant to be? |
 | Flick: | Aug 14th, 2011 at 10:06 GMT | | 7 points |
| OK we've added a minute. @MSUKent: 'casual' isn't the best plan of action for a blitz :) |
 | Derek4: | Aug 19th, 2011 at 15:57 GMT | | 0 points |
| not enough time |
 | AnaO: | Aug 22nd, 2011 at 12:05 GMT | | 3 points |
| it would be easy and boring with more time. It's exciting that way. |

| South America and Oceania both have about half as many countries as there are letters of the alphabet, but somehow only Oceania makes it halfway through. Hmmm. |

| what about Bermuda? |
 | Tori: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 04:28 GMT | | 15 points |
| @Barbara624 Bermuda is not a country. It's a British Territory. |

| @tunnel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_America#Countries.2C_territories.2C_and_dependencies. Barbados is listed as an independent nation in North America. |

| how did I manage to miss Canada AND Australia? |
 | matt01: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 07:11 GMT | | 29 points |
| another minute or 2 would be appreciated |
 | Zak6009: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 07:43 GMT | | 14 points |
| @matt01 I agree, but it's called a "blitz" for a reason. |

| Far too little time! |
Comment below threshold: show it | stad: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 10:19 GMT | | -10 points |
| RockMontage - it's a test of HOW MANY you can get in the time allocated. Most people (I am convinced) cheat at Sporcle and that's why the stats always lie. |
 | Bladselleri: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 10:32 GMT | | 8 points |
| 9 seconds left... Kriibati, no, Kribiati, no, Kirib... TIME IS UP! |
 | madiba: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 10:37 GMT | | 2 points |
| great quiz, really gets the brain ticking with the limited time. 5 globes. |
 | megascarp: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 11:31 GMT | | 6 points |
| @RockMontage if people are cheating then why are the stats fairly average? Are these people who conscientiously cheat, not to get it all right but only moderately push up their results? or another name for them could be 'people who know geography'. |
 | OnABoat999: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 11:51 GMT | | 7 points |
| If only you could add like 30 seconds to these quizzes... |
 | nickos: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 12:23 GMT | | 5 points |
| Great quiz, getting it done in 2 minutes is a real challenge. |
 | survivorfan2000: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 14:10 GMT | | 1 point |
| Well, Barbara624 Bermuda is not considered a country because it is owned by the United Kingdom. Anyway, nice quiz!! |

| not enough time. |
 | soshoreman: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 16:22 GMT | | 1 point |
| I bailed after North America because there isn't enough time. |
 | Volante: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 17:00 GMT | | 4 points |
| For those who want more time...go play the "name all countries" quiz and brush up. Then you can come back and destroy this Alphabetically First Country Blitz. It gets tiring, real tiring, reading a plurality of comments going "More time!!" when that's the point of a blitz. |

 | Margann: | Nov 24th, 2011 at 19:53 GMT | | 2 points |
| One more minute would have been sufficient. I almost didn't get the last one because I was stumbling as I typed. |
 | willwoodlen: | Nov 25th, 2011 at 03:30 GMT | | 5 points |
| Here's my answer to the question asked in the title of the quiz: no. |

| I finally got over not ever being able to see France and Russia on my mental map...and now Brazil has disappeared from it. These geography quizzes can make you feel so stupid. |

| 10% more people are getting Andorra than Afghanistan, welcome to Sporcle. |
