@pwtiii In light of your repeated allusions to the petty arguments that typically plague websites' comments sections, I'd ask if you've ever paused to read through the average comments on a Sporcle game. I, for one, would hazard that Sporclers form one of the most polite communities on the Web. Perhaps, sir or ma'am, you haven't yet realized this. So often we can set our expectations so low. If you got to know this site, you'd see a few things:
1) Your average comment score is -1.78. You have made 152 comments. Generally, users with that low a score have only made a few comments, which were poorly received. I am aware that on many websites it would be common for people to generally treat you negatively. However, for a Sporcler to on average have two more people find his comments "Terrible!" than "Great!" is rather rare, over such a large sample size. Rockgolf, for instance, has received an average of 4.81 positive reviews for his 8,942 comments. Newenglander has made 1,704 comments and maintains an average of 2.65. Golden, 3.65 over 984. And I can assure you that I'm weighing every word of this that I write, so as not to damage my precious, coveted 4.72.
2) On Sporcle, we respect our community leaders. Rockgolf is the Music editor and has a Quizmaster score of 26,543, the fourth-highest in the world (leading Flick, this quiz's creator, by a slim 600 points at the moment). We don't put these users on pedestals for the superficial qualities that pass for expertise on other sites (most followers, most subscribers, etc.), but for the fact that they have records, across the board, of being the best at bringing fun, informative quizzes into people's lives. You may note that even as you lambaste him, Rockgolf refrains from taking any unusually harsh tone with you, though I hope I've just shown he'd be well within his rights to do so. The thing is, there's no one in his position on Sporcle who would sink to your level.
