	I found this quiz fascinating and interesting. Had no idea there were words for some of these things! - but not being all that familiar with "high church" I had to think a lot about them and only had 8 answers completed with a minute left. I suspended the quiz so I wouldn't see the answers in the hope that my plea to consider doubling the time would be heard so I can give it another try with a possibility of better success. Please?

	Great quiz! I have an M.Div. (albeit from a Russian Orthodox Seminary where some of the terms are different) and I only got 70% right. Learned some new terms. I made this a CP for Church.

	Really great quiz! Calling the lectern a "reading desk" threw me off as I immediately thought of a place where you sit and read. Maybe you could find a better word than desk...but I can't think of one.

	Well, I managed to get them all, but some of these words I'm unfamiliar with. I'm Episcopalian, so the Anglican thing and the US American thing might be part of it. If it were a fill-in-the-blank, e.g., I'd have tried "apse" for eastern end of a church, even though technically an apse is a semi-dome at the eastern end. So I might've come up with quire or choir next. Or thurible instead of censer. We use the word censer too, but thurible is much more common (as it's carried by a thurifer). I'm a verger at a cathedral, by the way. :) So I was happy to see my position listed. I looked for "sacristan" first, assuming it would be the Catholic term. Some of those job titles - e.g., verger and sexton - vary so much by place, but your clues get at the historical job descriptions. Nice quiz! (BTW, I've made one of ecclesial terminology - not clickable, but it accepts variants for answers. I'd love if you tried it, if you haven't yet. I've only made 4 quizzes, so it's easy to spot on my profile.)

	Thought it was interesting that you specify "square three-ridged Catholic cap" when a whole lot of these words only apply to Catholic churches (maybe also to Orthodox). ie. some Protestant churches don't have a separate lectern & pulpit or a sacristy. Just an observation.

	"Next in line" after a bishop (or was it archbishop) seemed a bit ambiguous. Maybe, bishops don't have to be priests but they usually (maybe always) are, and an archdeacon isn't necessarily a priest, so some meanings of "next in line" might not apply. There are also suffragan bishops who are likely to fill in when a bishop can't fulfill his duties (as in some functions and respects might a dean). But then I could be utterly wrong, since I don't know that much about Roman Catholic Church law. Also I've never seen "undercroft", and would write or say "crypt" (again being more familiar with Anglicanism although I'm an atheist). Like mitre/miter, crozier is an acceptable alternative spelling for crosier.

	Good quiz, but I'm not convinced that "congregation" is a specifically or common Catholic word for those attending Mass, in fact, it's more common in Protestant churches. If you look in the Missal, the word is not used: it uses "the faithful", "the people" and, at communion, "communicants". Congregation does have specifically Catholic meaning e.g. Congregation for the bishops, Congregation for Catholic Education etc, but it has nothing to do with those attending Mass.

	This isn't correct for every denomination. These seem to be specifically Catholic. Being I am a "spiritual mutt" and have gone to services at many denominations' congregations, I know that these aren't all correct for everything. Please specify Catholic in your title.
