| Great game - tough and makes you think. I like the way the first letter is missing. |

| Good quiz! It's a bit incongruous, though, to use the long-form name "United States of America" instead of the short-form "United States" when you are using the short forms of all the other names (e.g., "Egypt" rather than "Arab Republic of Egypt"). |

| Very good game - definitely hard! 5 stars for totally stumping me (18/26) |
 | richarizard: | Dec 2nd, 2010 at 20:19 GMT | | 10 points |
| This was all kinds of harder than I thought it was going to be. |

| Excellent game! Interesting observation #1: No South American countries were used. I was looking for them when I noticed that and I was down to three left, and sure enough, the last three came from other continents. |
 | mapman: | Dec 4th, 2010 at 18:14 GMT | | 2 points |
| Great game! Shouldn't Papua New Guinea's clue end "NA" rather than "IA" |
 | marpocky: | Dec 5th, 2010 at 18:49 GMT | | 1 point |
| Why was zifyoip's comment voted down so much? How do people not realize by now that the Sporcle-standard name for the US is merely United States? People would be pitching a fit, and rightly so, if he had NTDIGOOGETRTIADOTENRLN for the UK. |

| Good quiz, and tough. It's amazing how the first letter missing really makes you have to start thinking. |

| Simple premise, difficult quiz. Great stuff. |

| There shouldn't be an apostrophe in "it's" in the instructions. Otherwise, great quiz. |

| My only suggestion would be to require typing in the full country names, like "United States of America" instead of just "United States." Otherwise, 5 globes! |

| Five sporcles! The two things I learned on my summer vacation: this is tougher than I expected. And I suck. I'd to that in alternate letter form, but I'd probably just mess itup. |
 | Megawall300: | Dec 15th, 2011 at 05:31 GMT | | 6 points |
| I second TheReaver88...surprised by lack of South American presence. |
 | pfrijiritr: | Dec 15th, 2011 at 06:02 GMT | | 16 points |
| United Arab Emirates, alternating vowel-consonant throughout. What a boss country name. |

| wow really confusing that you fail to mention that some are missing a final letter and some aren't |
 | cuendillar: | Dec 15th, 2011 at 07:22 GMT | | 20 points |
| That's sort of implied in the instructions. If all odd-numbered letters are removed, obviously those with an odd letter number will miss the final letter, while the others won't. |
 | WredAguyW: | Dec 15th, 2011 at 07:55 GMT | | 21 points |
| @NS7: Don't worry. Here on Sporcle, I think we'd be more disappointed if you got Fiji and missed Kyrgyzstan. |
 | HER: | Dec 15th, 2011 at 08:14 GMT | | 2 points |
| I've never seen the US ranked so low on a quiz before. Or Fiji ranked so high. Here's to making my brain all sorts of befuddled! |
 | shoff: | Dec 15th, 2011 at 08:27 GMT | | 50 points |
| If Russia was included in this quiz, the "abbreviation" would be USA! |
 | Matt_V: | Dec 15th, 2011 at 09:32 GMT | | 2 points |
| Remarkably difficult, although you knew Kyrgyzstan would be in there somewhere! Great quiz. |
 | jajison: | Dec 15th, 2011 at 10:17 GMT | | 2 points |
| It takes away more letters than one would think but that's what makes it difficult. |

| Why do people have to moan about different parts of the world not being represented in quizzes like this? It's a flipping quiz, not an exercise in world equality! A good quiz too, chapeau! |

| missed the country i live in (!) very hard and very good quiz |
 | barnztormre: | Dec 15th, 2011 at 13:07 GMT | | 9 points |
| @bertcharmoll: I thought you meant the USA turned into "NTDTTSFMRC", and couldn't figure out what that referred to. Very good observation on both of your behalves. (To be diplomatic, I voted both of you up.) |
 | witz1960: | Dec 15th, 2011 at 13:19 GMT | | -4 points |
