| Yes — with just the authors, the dividing line of which books are allegorical is just way too vauge/subjective, especially since usually if one of an author's books tends in that direction, others will too. (e.g. Bach's "Illusions: adventures of a reluctant messiah" is definitely also allegorical, Irving's "World according to Garp" arguably so, and lots of books by Golding and Steinbeck). With a description of that allegory, it'd both be a meatier quiz, and wouldn't suffer from this ambiguity. |
