Could you add Burma as an accepted answer in addition to Myanmar? Otherwise a dandy quiz!

Of course, the first thing I tried for the fifth plague was murrain, because I grew up with the Maxwell House Hagaddah. I can't be the only one, can I?

What about 1, 2, & 3 John? Since John is officially the Gospel of John, then you should accept the 3 Epistles of John.

"Nile turns red", "red river", lots of things you could call the first plague. I know, I tried.

Excellent quiz. May I suggest accepting "Parsee" and "Parsi" for Zoroastrianism? Either spelling refers specifically to the Zoroastrian community in India.

One (major) problem with this quiz, you ask for a planet named after a Greek GOD... Uranus wasn't a God, he was a titan and there is a difference. It only requires a simple (but necessary) change. Other than that, great quiz!

@liwerni9: The word used for the fourth plague is 'ערוב/eruv' which means 'swarm', 'mixture' or 'amalgamation'. Whether this is a swarm of insects or a stampede of animals is up to different traditions and interpretations but both should be accepted.

Should accept "Siva" as well as "Shiva." Siva is a legitimate spelling of the god's name.

Maybe you need to confirm which version of the Bible you mean for the 9 books since my bible has 10 beginning with J. I know Judith isn't included in all versions of the Bible but it is in some.

Great quiz (not that you could prove it by my score). And yes, Virginia, there ARE Jews in India, the history of their community is quite interesting, check it out if you have a chance. And I just don't think we hear enough from the Zoroastrians these days, perhaps it's because they don't go door to door ...

@bobbleobble: As far as I know, only the Catholic Bible contains Judith. The King James Version, that old Sporcle standard, does not. I'm guessing that's why it wasn't accepted. You're right though, clarification would be nice, just in case.

It might be more appropriate to say "The five books of the Torah/Pentateuch" rather than "Bible." You could offer a hint that they're also the first five books of the Bible. I'm not Jewish, but I thought it might be nice.

Buddhism is not a religion, it's a belief system. Siddhartha Gautama (The Buddha) was human. Jerusalem is considered the "Holy Land" to countless Muslims, making it one of the holiest cities. Good all-around quiz though.

The plague is transliterated as Arov. It was taught to me (and most people) as wild animals or beasts. I don't know about flies, but beasts should definitely be accepted.

Seven "cardinal" sins is another name for the seven deadly sins...however...i'm pretty sure there are at least 10 million hindus in India...I would also guess that for Nepal and Pakistan as well...

This seems to give extraordinary weight to Judeo-Christian-Islamic religion, considering that 6 of the 10 questions deal exclusively with them.
