Nice. When I was making mine, I intentionally left off the wives of Henry VIII because I didn't want to take
all
the obvious ones from you ;-)

On Wikipedia, if you search for Angevin, it goes to House of Anjou, which was the Plantagenets. Which kings are you considering Angevin and which are you considering Plantagenets?

Good quiz...however, would someone please stop referring to monarchs as the "ENGLISH" royal houses. There hasn't been an ENGLISH king or queen since the union of the crowns in March 1603 when the last Tudor monarch (Elizabeth) was succeeded by James VI (and I).

Please change "7 Wonders of the World Locations" to "7 Wonders of the Ancient World Locations". Still a good quiz, though!

The Oxford History of Britain lists Plantagenet, not Anjou. The Angevin Empire is the addition of French lands to the English king resulting from Henry II's marriage to Eleanor of Aquitaine. Generally Anjou is listed secondary to Plantagenet when referring to that house. But other than that, nice quiz. I enjoyed it.

Henry the Eighth, to six wives he was wedded. One died, one survived, two divorced, two beheaded. Or, three Katherines, two Annes and one Jane.

It's the Julio-Claudian Emperors, and there are 5. You left out Augustus. He is as much a Julian as the other 4

If you want something to replace it, I'd suggest the 4 original members of the Tetrarchy: Diocletian, Maximian, Constantius Chlorus, and Galerius

Did anyone else find this too similar to the first History By the Numbers? That one asked for Warsaw pact languages, the ancient wonders of the world, and the first five Roman emperors. Surely there more numbers in history!

Should accept the German spelling of the house with all the Georges. And Orange-Nassau should at least be a bonus.

Something's gone wrong with the Canadian provinces (3 count as 1 answer and it won't take them separately) - and the answer stats refer to classical elements

I think that angevin is the French demonym for Anjou, so it should be either House of Anjou or Angevin House. "House of Angevin" sounds to me like "Republic of Italian".

@Teary_Ennui: sorry I was just replacing the Romans. I initially thought of Canada (but then I remembered that was in HBN1) so I've gone for an old classic if you'll excuse the pun! Thanx TJL and all for the comments.@newfoodie: There are more numbers in history that is true enough, but the alternatives for some of the numbers I felt would not enhance the game so I shifted the emphasis of the question. If you look at the most missed they are still proving among the most elusive of answers.
