Excellent! And easier (at least for me) than I was expecting, given how few movies I see--they're some pretty iconic images.

@folio1701 Yes! Thank you! I put that in specifically hoping someone would bring up Sloth.

don't accept "lotr" for only one of those movies; it leads to the assumption that you got them both.

I agree with TheReaver88, I have a small monitor so I couldn't see the bottom, which ended up with me not getting LOTR:ROTK when I assumed I had

@TheReaver88 and crab_legs Alright, it's been changed. It now takes only the specific installment of the trilogy for each (with variations of course).

@RCHPfan96 I thought the same thing while making this. It seems the movie makeup and costume industry (best costume quizzes on the way fyi...plugplugplug) is really dominated by just a few individuals. There you have it kids, work behind the scenes. You don't get as much publicity, but you get lots of tiny shiny gold men.

It's funny how it goes from great movies like "The Lord of the Rings" and Pan's Labyrinth" to the likes of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"...

fail - got the lotr one, so thought that pic 2 on the next row must be a potter picture and tried all those variations, but no more of the lotr titles. way to go missing an easy point.

"Harry and the Hendersons" was originally released as "Bigfoot and the Hendersons" in the UK. It might be nice to allow this as well.

@Fruitbat Thanks, added. @Aroll510 This is a list of all the Academy Award winners for best makeup. While the Exorcist probably would have won, the category didn't start until 1981.

Ridiculous that you accept "Narnia" for Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe, but not "Lord of the Rings" for Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings.

@hempic - There are two LOTR movies on this list, therefore you have to include full titles.

Man, wish Norbit was on here. I love how the Academy could acknowledge its makeup even though it's one of the worst movies ever made. Still, wonderful quiz.

@mrgenova: the Academy awards drama, arthouse films, and huuuuge blockbusters. To say their choices for nominees and winners every year are poor is an understatement.

@skipper - Robert the Bruce had a father who was severely stricken with Leprosy and the film shows the progression of his disease in four scenes they have together, the makeup work was quite good as I recall. The competition that year was pretty poor. No Creature effects were nominated.

Skipper: I think Braveheart's win may not have been for the blue face paint so much the scenes involving Robert the Bruce's father (who was depicted in the movie as suffering from leprosy).

I totally agree with hempick. I knew that it had accepted "Narnia" for "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe," so when I typed "Lord of the Rings" and it didn't take it, I didn't try the full titles. Not consistent=not fun.
