| @BigFlax Yes, I thought someone would bring up something like this, but I have a line of reasoning. While there are some instances here where the physical character was based around a "real" person, the personality and representation of the imagined character for the purpose of the storyline is created by the imaginer. For example, while Elvis Presley was a real character, I doubt the real Mr. Presley advocated the shooting of pimps... Then again I did not know the gentleman. In any case, for Memento while there was a real Sammy Jankis, the story of Sammy we are privy to is an imagination of Leonard. |
