I am shocked, shocked, that no one thought of making this quiz before. Well done and thanks.

@strags11 I know, I was amazed too. The Joker's scars speech has been done to death, but not this?

@fearthemanatee You can uncheck the 'Filter Default Words' box to prevent 'a/and/the' from showing up all at once.

FearTheManatee, I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship.

There should be a way to replace the "Think you can do better this time? Try again." line on the results page by "Think you can do better this time? Play it again, Sam." (and yes I know that is not the exact quote.)

How on earth did I get 127 right and blow the last (and arguably most famous) line? Sheesh.

Greatest. Movie. Ever. Odd isn't it, that the only two movies I can quote nearly from beginning to end are Casablanca and Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail?
Apr 12th, 2011 at 20:58 GMT
Such an iconic speech, they just don't write 'em like this anymore.
Apr 12th, 2011 at 21:51 GMT
"I'm shocked, shocked! to find out there's gambling going on here!" "Your winnings, sir." So many great and memorable lines in this movie...and, if you're like me, you heard most of them in various Bugs Bunny cartoons before ever seeing the movie.
Apr 12th, 2011 at 21:52 GMT
I have watched this movie so many times, now I just watch it to make sure they do it right.
Apr 12th, 2011 at 22:18 GMT
@Hejman Weirder that you can quote Monty Python from beginning to end but don't know the title of the movie.
Apr 13th, 2011 at 01:12 GMT
"...remember this gun is pointed at your heart." "That's my LEAST vulnerable spot."
Apr 13th, 2011 at 01:19 GMT
@EmTeeZ- Nah, I just like to put the word "quest" in there to make the purists squirm.
Apr 13th, 2011 at 01:50 GMT
Amused to see that 30% didn't guess the word kid.
Apr 13th, 2011 at 03:05 GMT
Jeez, even doing the sporcle quiz that speech gives me goosebumps.
Apr 13th, 2011 at 06:54 GMT
I probably should have guessed Ilsa and Casablanca.
Apr 13th, 2011 at 12:26 GMT
One of my favourite movies ever! I just love it. Rick is one of the best characters ever.

"It doesn't take..." Brains? Smarts? Einstein?... much. Oh.

@Khazar: I know, there were a few parts like that for me too, where I knew what he said but couldn't quite figure out how he phrased it. "a HILL of beans" who knew?

Five Globes--thanks for creating this one, FtM

a thriller of a quiz!
Apr 16th, 2011 at 07:34 GMT
How did I get 110 without having seen the movie? And how did I miss the final sentence?
Apr 17th, 2011 at 18:28 GMT
HOW did I miss "Here's looking at you, kid"? HOW? ROFL.
Jun 9th, 2011 at 05:34 GMT
@Khazar49... I thought it was "doesn't take a genius" but there were too few word spaces... which really stumped me. Blind groping got the answer, but how many times did I type in "two" for the number of people instead of "three"? Four, maybe five times. Somehow I didn't include Victor in my math--unlike Maj. Strasse. (I gave him the best table. Knowing he was German, he'd take it anyway.) For iconic quotes, this is such a target-rich movie. Who doesn't get chills during the pre-Deliverance "dueling national anthems" scene?
Jun 19th, 2011 at 02:10 GMT
I got 104 without ever having seen the movie. I love quizzes like this.
