Wow, freakin' awesome game. The idea itself is great, but the execution- to think of enough notable hairstyles, and to find perfect pictures for each- is just stellar. 5/5 and an Editor's Pick.
One little favor: Can you make just "Dana" acceptable for Scully?

@Kicking222 Thanks! And fixed, I must have missed Dana after all the other alternates of Scully, Agent Scully, Special Agent Scully, etc.

On Bewitched, the character's name was Samantha Stephens (Tate was Darren's boss's name). And could you accept Elizabeth Montgomery and Gillian Anderson, since you accept the actor's names for so many of the other ones? Also, you've misspelled "Oprah" in the answer. Interesting quiz!

@tcalleen Thanks for the heads up. I was using IMDB for the full name info, guess it was a false entry. And the Oprah thing is just me being tired. Right now I'm only accepting the actors' names that are known as much by their real name as their character name (Mr.T, Mary Tyler Moore, Miley Cyrus, and the Hoff). But, if people really find this annoying, I'll change it.

I think you should link your source to a picture of your picture without the question marks. It would be cool to have the question marks disappear as you got each correct answer, and since I know this is far from possible, linking to a question mark-less image would be the next best thing. Just a suggestion, great quiz.

This is indeed a great quiz. Just one more noodge on the actor vs character; the quiz asks for "personalities", which I interpret to mean actors, as well. But it's your quiz, and it's a good one either way.

@Sporctastic I actually had the same thought when making the quiz, but there's two things: 1) People would cheat and 2) On the lazier side I'd have to reformat it again without the marks. Having said that though, I'll probably reformat it and add a url here in the comments section when I have some time.

@minnmich Yeah, I put personalities in there because while most are fictional characters, there are some that play themselves (Conan, Oprah, Fieri, etc). It was out of respect, but honestly to be on tv provokes a certain sense of "fiction" to one's person anyway, so I'll change the wording.

@chickamucka If you notice the comments above, I recently changed the wording from "personalities" to "characters" to help ease confusion about guessing the character name...it seems I cannot win. And there is a part 2, as well as 2 versions of hair in movies that are more big and bold than anything on the small screen.

It's too bad the question mark can't like vanish or something once you correctly guess the person in the picture. Oh well. Either way, it was a fun quiz.

Wow...I have serious issues with this quiz. I can type "Ball" for Lucy Ricardo and "Mr. T" for B.A. Baracus, but can't type Anniston for Rachel Green? Are we supposed to put the character's name or the actor's name?

@Pogues Maybe you should learn how to spell Jennifer Aniston's last name first...

Great idea, but I agree with Pogues that the answers were inconsistent. Some of them allowed the character's name or the actor's name.

I was so certain that Kotter was Cousin Larry from "Perfect Strangers" that I thought maybe I was spelling "Larry" wrong and tried it with an I.

That's not the way Ginger Grant usually wore her hair - I think that's why so many people aren't getting it. I thought it was Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke. Fun quiz though.

I got most of them from their backgrounds (Hannah Montana, Jon Stewart, Jim Halpert), or animation style. How much more difficult would this quiz be if it were shopped to be JUST the hair, like in the quiz's thumbnail?

Hahaha - I totally butchered this quiz. My first mistake was in not reading the question correctly (always a good start) and I began by entering actors instead of characters. But that was working fine until I got to Aniston and then suddenly I got really confused. Once I figured out my mistake, I started trying to type in answers when the curser had the wrong box highlighted. More confusion. Then I spelled "Stephens" with a "v" instead of a "ph". Eventually ran out of time. What a maroon!

Not the most tell-tale picture of Elaine Bennes, she had some pretty funky hair do's. This one is pretty average.
