The Bewitched part is based on the TV show, not the movie

number 1 is also a parody within a parody. the whole episode was a parody of poltergeist, with this scene parodying lord of the rings

@maaxwell Yes, well while the sketch was overall a Wizard of Oz spoof, I figured several people would think Bewitched first so I offered some leeway. @swills13 Whoops. I actually had Poltergeist as an alternate answer but forgot to add it to the visual answer. Thanks for the heads up.

accept "Indiana Jones"

Thumbs up if you knew #7 was Miley Cyrus.

@stencer I may do just that. It might take awhile though, the film ones were all distinctive enough to be recalled from memory, whereas the TV parodies may require some "research." @TheReaver88 Since this scene parodied The Temple of Doom specifically (and in great detail I might add)I ask for the specific movie in the series. I do accept indiana jones 2, which I think is easy enough. @bmo1616 Indeed.

Maybe a few to get you started--bugs bunny/looney toons, Yogi Bear, the Electric Company, Wheel of Fortune, the Tracy Ullman show, House M.D., Saturday Night Live, Jackass, Star Trek :)

Just saw the last episode of season 3. They parody The Graduate, was hoping to see it here ^^. Amazing show! Oh and from which scene of LotR is this a parody ??

@stencer Thanks! @H0limkill You shall not pass!

I was just about to complain that the ents are in 'Two Towers' but if it's you shall not pass, I'll keep my mouth shut... :-) Just stumbled upon a Back to the Future scene in Family Guy, but not this one, still, talk about coincidence.
Feb 3rd, 2011 at 22:50 GMT
@Fenrik Yeah Back to the Future seems to be their movie reference of choice...well except for Star Wars of course.
