| Another example of how the Wrong Answer feature can be perfectly used. Awesome quiz! |

| I know it gets no respect, but Casino Royale was filmed in 1966 with David Niven at James Bond (although a number of other actors assumed the name in that film). Maybe accept Niven as a bonus? |

| Some of the others were good but CONNERY was the best Bond. |

| It seems silly to put ??? for wrong answers in the results page when the correct answer gets shown on the main quiz. |
 | greebles: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 18:02 GMT | | 10 points |
| @nyorker: NSNA was Thunderball remade, and generally isn't counted in the chronology. |
 | MrVercetti: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 18:13 GMT | | 13 points |
| NSNA was not made by EON Productions, unlike all of the 22 listed here. Same goes for the 1967 Casino Royale. |
 | quackman: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 18:30 GMT | | 13 points |
| Thanks for counting the 1966 Casino Royale Bond as a correct answer. |
 | Bradley: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 18:41 GMT | | 13 points |
| Love that David Niven is a "correct" answer for Casino Royale. |
 | Jimh: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 18:52 GMT | | 5 points |
| I had to go back to see if the quiz accepted Barry Nelson for Casino Royale as well. It didn't. |

| So what you're saying is that If Looks Could Kill is not official Bond canon? |
 | jism: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 19:34 GMT | | 9 points |
| The film was never called "License to Kill". Even though that is the American spelling, it was released as "Licence to Kill" there (and every other English speaking country IIRC). |
 | Snigglie: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 20:19 GMT | | 3 points |
| Never Say Never Again was not produced by EON Productions and is considered to be an 'unofficial' Bond movie. That being said, if you accept David Niven for Casino Royale, then Never Say Never Again should have also been included. |

| Ditto, quackman et al. I love how "David Niven" was accepted for Casino Royale. Very classy of you, Sporcle. |

| Hmmm... for me still is Dalton the ultimate bond |
 | DRB: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 21:30 GMT | | 7 points |
| I'm a Brosnan fan, thought he was an excellent Bond, especially in GoldenEye. |
 | adhair: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 21:43 GMT | | 3 points |
| Second the spelling correction for Licence to Kill (even though I'm an American), and yes, Dalton was by far my favorite too. |
 | Volante: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 22:01 GMT | | 7 points |
| @themagicone0ont, adhair: We're a select breed, us Dalton fans. (Plus TLD's my favorite, followed closely by Thunderball and FYEO.) |

| i think there's a programming error here. i put moore and then connely for license to kill, and no wrong answer warning appear. |
 | TimeAndTide: | Jun 8th, 2011 at 22:33 GMT | | 4 points |
| Poor George Lazenby -- he's the only one below 50% as of this writing. :-( FWIW, I thought he made a rather good Bond. Even though I grew up on Roger Moore as 007 -- and to date he appeared in the most official Bond movies -- I think his was the weakest Bond portrayal. It was too campy. All the others have been quite good, although I'm partial to the 1960's films with Sean Connery. |

| Daniel Craig is by far the worst Bond ever, even worse than Dalton. |
 | chux: | Jun 9th, 2011 at 00:56 GMT | | 4 points |
Rosie Carver: "But you couldn't. You wouldn't! Not after what we've just done!"
Bond: "I certainly wouldn't have killed you before."
Campy, yes, but Roger Moore was the man. |
 | ironsij0287: | Jun 9th, 2011 at 01:15 GMT | | 0 points |
| A View to a Kill is at the bottom? Classic 80s Bond! Sure Roger was getting a little long in the tooth but it had Christopher Walken and Grace Jones and Duran Duran did the theme song. I watched that one a bunch on HBO as a kid. |

| I just realized the only ones I got wrong were all Pierce Brosnan films. And count me as another "Never Say Never" fan, it's far more "official" than anything that fop Moore ever made. |
 | springmom: | Jun 9th, 2011 at 04:55 GMT | | -4 points |
| Connery forever. No one played Bond like he did. No one. I can't stand the movies with Daniel Craig. Dalton was okay, Brosnan was better, and Moore was well...he played Bond like it was all a big joke. That said, my favorite Bond movie of all time is From Russia With Love. |

| If David Niven is going to be accepted for Casino Royale, Peter Sellers probably should be too. And Ursula Andress. And Woody Allen. And Terence Cooper... |

| @Volante Great, together is not alone:D Go Dalton. I never understood why people liked Moore so much. His roles in all the James Bond movies as well as in The Saint and The Persuaders are almost identical. Always the same irony and jokes. It's not bad or something like that, but it is predictable. |

| connery and moore are real good as bond. i think connery edges moore on the quotes. moore edges connery on the gadgets. but the real winners are all the bond girls. |
