Can you name the Dr. Seuss book titles for each letter of the alphabet?
created by
FearTheManatee
Enter a book title in the box below
Correctly named book titles will show up below
Answers do not have to be guessed in order
A few letters unfortunately lacked the Seuss spin. Disregard "the" as the first letter of the title. Titles that begin with a number whether it be as digits or letters fall into the first category.

The Cat's Quizzer didn't work for me, I also couldn't get Happy Birthday to You and You're Only Old Once to work.

You're Only Old Once doesn't seem to be in there at all. The other apostrophe problems are the result of cutting and pasting something with smart quotes; Sporcle treats ' and ’ as different characters. Nice idea, but testing it would have been awfully helpful.

All fixed and added, thanks. I had Happy Birthday, Baby! but forgot Happy Birthday to You. You're Only Old Once wasn't on the list I was looking at for some reason.

I couldn't get There's a Wocket In My Pocket to work. What Was I Scared Of? seems to be among the missing.

Fun quiz, but it won't accept "The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins." It's listed as an answer for the numbered books, but when I typed it (about 10 times!), it wouldn't take. I even copied/pasted from the "give up?" page into a retake (to be triple sure it was spelled correctly), and it wasn't accepted. Fix it, please! I was so happy to have remembered it, only to be denied. :(

I love Dr. Seuss, but I didn't love this quiz. Several of the books were written under different pen names, but that was not indicated in the directions. I wouldn't have had a problem with it if it had been. However, Up Up With the Cat is not a true Dr. Seuss title, but is a cloth book for babies based on the Cat in the Hat, and shouldn't have been included just to get a title for "U."

"And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street" is not accepted, but "And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry" is, though it still shows up as the full titled.

For those of you who feel the need to downvote older comments, the problem has apparently been fixed silently.

@kerbertxela & extranail09 The full titles are now accepted. I originally had the longer titles down so that you wouldn't have to type the whole thing (hence accepting once you type "500 hats of Bart" and "And To Think That I Saw It On Mulberry"), but the whole titles should work now as well. It was meant to help against mispelling and excessive typing, but I guess sometimes trying to make things easier makes it more difficult.

It didn't keep me from misspelling "Sneetches" and "Mayzie." I should have kept trying, but I just felt too lazy.

I remember when I was in kindergarten and there was some Dr. Seuss anniversary and we each had to color in the color from a Dr. Seuss book. Of course I got "Oh the You'll Go" and I had to color in all of those little furry things that go around in a circle along the cover.

One Fish Two Fish... should not count as a # answer because the number is spelled out as a word.

I insist that you remove some of the bastardizations of actual Dr. Seuss books. Up, up, up. Wet pet. All aboard. They had nothing to do with the real man.

Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think that the Seven Lady Godivas is accepted for S. I guess it's usually forgotten because it was one of Seuss's few adult books, but it's really delightful. You guys should all check it out.

It didn't take "Maybe You Should Fly a Jet, Maybe You Should Be a Vet". Same with "Are You My Mother". I know those were written under the name LeSieg, but this quiz already includes some of those.
