We shouldn't have to type out the full name for each college - 'Harvard,' 'Stanford,' etc. should all be acceptable.

The standard postal abbreviation for Washington DC is "DC", not "WA". WA is for the state of Washington. Also, Missouri is MO, not MI (MI is Michigan).

Also you should accept UC Berkeley as an answer. Also, the wrong postal code thing really screwed me up. UGA should be acceptable gor Georgia as well UNC, UW, and UF

You really shouldn't require "University of" to be typed in for each state school.

Not sure why you allowed abbreviations for some schools but not for others.

@jeff: abbreviations are allowed when typing state schools...if just typing the name of the state was accepted anyone could get about half by looking at the state abbreviation and typing the state out. @deorco: there are abbreviations allowed for every school

So your view is that quiz takers are more likely to just type in the state name because you gave the abbreviation rather than recognizing that state school of those states is a likely answer?

@F50Rami: So be it - people type the state and get the school correct. The alternative is that people think the state school is the wrong choice, wrack their brains thinking of other schools in the state, get frustrated, give up, get mad when they see the answers, and vote your quiz down.

states now count as an answer for the state schools (other than the 2 California ones)
