	Contrary to its name, the Equator doesn't actually run through Equatorial Guinea. I searched for a game like this and since I couldn't find one I decided to make one myself. Let me know what you think!

	Interesting game. Please accept STP (Sao Tome and Principe), RC (Republic of the Congo), and NZ (New Zealand). Those abbreviations are formed in the same way the ones you do accept are: US, UAE, DRC, and UK.

	I kept to the same standard as Sporcle's "countries of the world" quiz: USA, UAE, DRC, and UK are accepted, as well as Rep Congo, but you have to fully type out New Zealand and Sao Tome and Principe. Sorry about that but I think it's better to just keep that stuff standard.

	Kiribati definitely crosses the Equator. Some Oceanic countries' borders meet at the Equator, so they could be bonus answers (Micronesia, Nauru, Papua New Guinea). Other countries border the Tropic of Capricorn (Tonga, Fiji, "France" via New Caledonia), whereas other "countries" cross it (France - French Polynesia, UK - Pitcairn Islands, New Zealand - Cook Islands and Niue). Also, did you mean that these significant lines must travel through an actual piece of land, or just the territorial claims of the country? Nice quiz...made me think.

	It's dubious if the antarctic claims can be considered as a part of the claimant countries (even as "territories"). Moreover, the Argentine, Chilean and British claims overlap, so you are including three countries but the portion of land is the same (the Antarctic Peninsula). By the way, the UK appears in the results page with 0%, although probably many players guessed it for Antarctica. (The next one has 61% of correct answers, so most likely there's an error in the statistics). Very good game.

	@EyeKanFly: I'm not suggesting you stop accepting New Zealand, Sao Tome and Principe, etc., just that you additionally accept the abbreviations formed in exactly the same way as the abbreviations you do accept. Therefore I don't see how any one is harmed or disadvantaged if you choose to accept those abbreviations, but I do see how it would improve the play of the game, just like US, UAE, DRC, and UK improve the play of the game.

	@koopa08: I'm sorry I was unclear. I updated the directions to say that the line MUST go through the LAND territory of the country. All the countries you listed (or all that I can find information about) have water territory which the equator goes through but not land territory. Sorry for the lack of clarity. @dancastro: I acknowledge your points, and I've placed a note about that, especially since I only accept Morocco as a bonus answer and its claims on Western Sahara are similar to the claims on Antarctica. I had to include the Antarctic Circle though just to make the quiz interesting. Otherwise there would've only been 4 prominent circles of latitude. To somewhat justify my inclusion, I can say that I only accepted OFFICIAL claims, those made before 1961, whereas I've made Brazil (whose claim to Antarctica is unofficial) a bonus answer. Thanks for bringing that up, but I'm not going to change it. I've also realized the issue about the error/glitch with UK in the statistics. I've taken the quiz a few times myself to see if anything I do will fix it, but so far to no avail. I'll keep seeing what I can do to fix it. @tahitiwahini: I understand what you suggested the first time, but I'm sticking with the naming conventions followed by Sporcle's "countries of the world" and "countries of [continent]" quizzes. No one would be harmed or disadvantaged if I followed your suggestion, it's just that I'd like to follow the standard conventions. If it counts for anything, I accept "rep congo" just like "countries of the world" and "countries of Africa". Thanks for the constructive comments!

	Correction: in the third line of my last statement when I said "equator" I meant "significant circle of latitude", sorry. I've added Brazil as a bonus to the Antarctic Circle, and Maldives and Kiribati as bonuses to the Equator. I'm still working on the UK issue, the issue may be happening for Argentina and Chile too, although it may be a bigger issue, since although Chile and Argentina each appear twice on the quiz, each answer for each country was guessed different amounts...strange.
