| @raragigi: I disagree. I think there is a much higher percentage of developped countries in these stats. Why, for example, is DRC (Congo) not listed? They have more population than France, UK or Italy. Or several other African countries for that matter. Why is India almost equivalent in cancer deaths to the States, while they have over 3 times the population? I see several possibilities - perhaps statistics are not collected as effectively in third world countries, perhaps deaths occur from other factors before cancer can set in, and perhaps it has something to do with additives and preservatives in the developped diet. |
