	Enter as many countries as you can think of. Each answer is a pattern pertaining to all the answers that appear below the "Answer #" heading (for example, if Germany and Guatemala both appear under the same heading, the pattern may be that both countries begin with the letter 'G'). Use any other information provided that appears to aid you. If any specific answers don't work, try simplifying them. If they should work, please note the exact phrase in a comment. I will adjust/edit the quiz accordingly. This one was hard to create and I understand it's difficulty, so please bare with me while I sort out the kinks. Thank you and enjoy the quiz!

	Very solid. Had some trouble with the vowels one for a while, but I'm not sure exactly what I was typing in and what I changed when I got it. Maybe add in a few more phrases?

	I added several key words to each category to make it easier. Maybe it's too easy, judging by the high scores. I'll keep it as it is for now. Let me know if I should adjust the time limit (Up arrow for "More time", Down arrow for "Less time").

	I think you need to widen the range of acceptable 'answers' - I got all 8 categories but whatever I typed, I couldn't get the quiz to accept (ie I typed 'begins with c' and 'b capitals'). Otherwise a good idea.

	i love these quizzes that you do. this one was easier than some of the other ones. i got the vowels one on accident, not sure what i typed, and hadn't actually figured it out yet.

	Iceland appears twice for #6. Believe the second one should be Ireland. Micronesia and Taiwan don't appear for #4. The "letter" answers should all read the same and be accepted with the same patterns. You have "Capitals beginning with []" but "Countries beginning with the letter []." I would change the latter (#1 and #7) to "Countries beginning with []." Also, you should accept "Capitals beginning with the letter []" for #3 and #5. Since you accept "Capitals []" for #3 and #5, you should also accept "Countries []" for #1 and #7. I would also accept "Nations" in place of "Countries" throughout. (The phrase "Island Nations" is especially common, so I would at least accept that for #4.) Just typing "Count" triggers the answer for #6. There are many who would quibble with you over leaving Central American and Caribbeans nations off the list for #8, but it's a bit more challenging the way you have it now.

	I added TONS of possible answers now. Thank you apchilds, LondonBlue, Robert_Seth, jessbuchberger, gingersnap and Wizzle. I took all your suggestions and edited the quiz. I'm sure there are still kinks because there are at least 15+ possible answers for each answer, so I'll be editing tomorrow as well. And thank you biskutt. I'm glad you enjoy these quizzes!

	Also, note that NOT EVERY COUNTRY WILL APPEAR IN THIS QUIZ. If a country does not appear, it does not belong in a category. As for including Latin America and the Caribbean nations for Answer #8, I simply couldn't fit them all in. I literally ran out of lines to use for this quiz (oh, how I wish there were 300...).

	I was going to complain about Canada not showing up for North American countries, but i remembered that as i typed "can" the answers for 3&5 appeared.

	Thank you brianmcp. Edited that. Apparently using apostrophes screws up the answers. Fixed that. Also, Latin America and Caribbean Nations now appear on the quiz as a group (and not individual countries due to lack of available lines).

	There's probably a fair amount of variation in the way you can describe these things, so for instance I think I tried "starts with a vowel" and "begins with a vowel" before finding that "vowel" works. That, plus the fact that so many categories are similar--once I had a few, I got "starts with S" with only one answer in it--makes the quiz good, but not great.

	LOL... for Answer #6, I guessed: Australia Egypt India Iran Ireland Israel Uganda United Arab Emirates United Kingdom United States of America ...which looked suspiciously like a list of countries that were at one point part of the British Empire. I tried "British Empire", "British Colonies", "English speaking countries", etc., but no dice. Threw me off the right answer for the rest of the game.

	yeah whats with the 'and' answer? got #4 and #5 for me. great idea for a quiz though. coudnt get the vowel one; only because after i guessed every countrybeggining with u i assumed that was the answer.

	By lumping 'Latin America' in for #8, you make it appear as Western Hemisphere. I think I triggered that one with Honduras, but considering all of SA is considered part of LA, I didn't continue guessing SA countries. Couldn't figure out why I didn't get a single one for #2. Anyway, that's a little misleading. What you were looking for, instead of Latin America, is Central America.

	Finally solved that "and" problem (apparently double forward slash "//" or a forward slash at the end of a line resulted in "and" being an acceptable answer). Added more possible answers/variations of answers. And thank you Kevin, I changed "Latin America" to "Central America." The number of answers a person could type for each answer is endless, which was my greatest fear going into this quiz. Here's hoping things move more smoothly now.

	I know this may be annoying for you, but I also had trouble with the vowel one. I kept putting "start(s) with a vowel" and countries start with a vowel" or "begin(s) with a vowel" and it was really annoying me. Just saying.

	When I played the game, Syria appeared in the column for North American countries. So I had Syria and Canada in the same column.

	OH! I played this three times (restarting when I got close to the time limit) thinking I had to name a country that matched the pattern. Only after I got the entire continent of South America in there did I get a clue.
