	Yes, Egypt is considered to be part of the Middle East (in every definition of the term, actually). Broader definitions also include northern Africa and parts of Asia, but I left those out.

	Whoops, I didn't even see that error when making the quiz. Thank you, Arbiter. Also, is there some reason the quiz is being voted down? I'd prefer suggestions and constructive criticism than simply low ratings.

	You also may find that some people take issue with Turkey's inclusion as the second largest country in Europe, given that only a small portion of it is in Europe. Also, does any source give Hong Kong a metro area population that includes cities near it in mainland China? Because it would need that to surpass New York here (and I'm still not sure if it would).

	Good quiz, but have my doubts about Hong Kong being the fifth largest metro area that is not a capital, can't see it being bigger than cities like New York, Kolkata, Delhi and Lagos. Also don't like the inclusion of the largest seas, the exact definition of a sea can a bit unclear. I believe a better inclusion would the largest lakes in the world.

	I think you mean "no countries" rather than "no continents" under "Three Largest Islands by Area."

	@wwiebe: Both "No countries" and "No continents" are acceptable in that case. The idea was just to exclude people from guessing Australia (which is considered a continent, not an island. The two definitions differ). @everyone else: Sorry about New York City. Huge brain fart there. @Mortz: Hong Kong-Shenzen's metro area beats both Kolkata (by less than a million) and Lagos. New Delhi is included in Delhi's metropolitan area, so that counts as a capital city (and excludes it from being a possible answer).

	The Middle East is defined as: Egypt, Syria, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (Cyprus and Turkey may also be included, but do not affect this quiz even if they were).

	Really good quiz except I agree with the post earlier about the seas. The term sea is loosely defined and can be vague. Maybe fresh water lakes or something else more specific?

	Where specifically did you get your list of largest seas? I checked your listed source (worldatlas.com) and found this: MAJOR SEAS (by size) South China (2,974,600 sq km) Caribbean (2,515,900 sq km) Mediterranean (2,510,000 sq km) Bering (2,261,100 sq km) Gulf of Mexico (1,507,600 sq km) Arabian Sea (1,498,320 sq km) (top 6 included to show they have the "arabian sea" but not so highly ranked as this quiz somehow). This article from a different site http://geography.about.com/od/waterandice/a/largestseas.htm has 1)mediterranean 2)caribbean 3)south china and arabian doesn't make the top 10. Both claim to be measuring surface area. I don't mind a quiz that happens to include something I don't know but this seems to be including mind reading.

	@canucklehead: Baffin is huge, but not as big as Borneo or New Guinea. I think you've fallen prey to the distortion of size in map projections.

	The continent you are thinking of INCLUDES Australia. People seem to generally think that Australia is a continent of its own, but it is just the largest portion of it. There are quite a few islands around Australia that are also part of the continent.
