Many cities have a french and a dutch name. The region (flanders or walloon) the city is located in determines which name is used. Of course both languages can be used.

Maybe this is too English-centric, but it seems insane not to take "Antwerp" and other English equivalents. I suspect "Brussels" only hit because it contains the Flemish name...

I agree with brittain33. I am accustomed to type English spellings first, so I entered Ghent. Only when I saw that it wasn't accepted I went with the French name Gand and it worked. In all quizzes about cities the best policy to avoid complaints is to allow both the English and the local names, e.g. in Germany Cologne and Köln. In this case the languages should be three.

Add Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Ostend. Also, it's Liège, not Liége... And technically the answer appearing for Brussels should be Bruxelles/Brussel.
