Unlike other more modern time periods, almost every Bible name I tried is on this list - except Paul, interestingly.

Whoever gave it a '1', please comment. I thought it was an excellent take on the ever-popular genre. It was interesting to see how that certain names never go out of style.

Amazing how little change there's been in more than 300 years in boys' names, while girls' names tend to change over every decade or so.

All the males in my family have their names on this list. I loved thinking of all those famous 17th & 18th century men -Isaac Newton, Christopher Wren, Samuels Pepys & Johnson, Daniel Defoe, Jonathan Swift, Josiah Wedgewood, Abraham Darby.
