| @SmokeMonster: I agree when you say that some of them need an evolution, but they should only give another form to the completely weak/useless ones that really need one. Pokemon like Corsola, Dunsparce, Spinda, Qwilfish, Luvdisc, etc. I've always found Stantler, Sableye, Mawile, and Torkoal completely reliable by themselves without needing any new forms. But then again, I thought the same thing about Magmar, Electabuzz, and Rhydon but they gave them new forms anyway. I believe that the way they just keep giving previous Pokemon new forms (like the way they did with Gen IV) just proves that they are running out of ideas for new Pokemon so they simply revert to their old ideas. If thats the case, then they should just stop making new ones altogether. |
