| This data is very flawed, if we are measuring "most generous countries". For example, the vast majority of assistance given by the United States is not "official development assistance" from the government (which is what this quiz's numbers are based on), but is given privately by U.S. citizens in the form of "philanthropy" and other "remittances". Given than, the United States' donor aid per capita is $530, ranking 8th in the world (Luxemborg is still number 1 at $1111).
