@Yankeespurs101 You have no idea what you are talking about. What you are referring to is Hindustani, a mutually intelligible dialect. Actual Hindi and Urdu are more different than French and Italian. Anybody who thinks they know both ought to listen to a news broadcast in Urdu versus a news broadcast in Hindi. I speak both fluently. Also it is Santhali not Santali.

Article One of Universal Declaration of Human Rights: Hindi - Sabhī manuṣyoṃ ko gaurav aur adhikāroṃ ke māmle meṃ janmajāt svatantratā prāpt hai. Unheṃ buddhi aur antarātmā kī den prāpt hai aur paraspar unheṃ bhāīcāre ke bhāv se bartāv karnā cāhiye. Urdu - Tamām insān āzād aur ḥuqūq o ʻizzat ke iʻtibār se barābar paidā hu’e haiṇ. Unheṇ zamīr aur ʻaql wadīʻat hu’ī he. Isli’e unheṇ ek dūsre ke sāth bhā’ī chāre kā sulūk karnā chāhi’e. ---- not the same language!

Urdu and hindi though prenounced the same use different scripts and are therefore different languages.
