Emphasis on the "loosely based"

What satchsurfer said. And for some of these, even describing the term as a "loosely based antonym" is false. Cantaloupe isn't the opposite of melon; it's a TYPE of melon. And why is Boston more opposite New York, than, say, Chicago?

Yeah, some of these are too much of a stretch. Viper and Cobra, and tulips and roses, for instance.

Non-Europeam is more of a synonym for All-American than an antonym. Often they're associations rather than opposites. Nice idea for a quiz, but needs more thinking out before it goes any further.
