Got the two most recent ones, but that's it. Never even heard of De Valera, who's the most-guessed by far!

@jaymc De Valera is one of the fathers of the Irish Republic, which is why he's the most guessed

De Valera could also be well known thanks to Morgan Llywelyn's excellent series about Irish nationalism, including 1916, 1949, 1973, and 1999. Not that it helped me remember him.

De Valera was also Prime Minister during World War II (and several times thereafter).

I had trouble getting O'Kelly, but that's because he is usually referred to by the Irish version of his name - O Ceallaigh. To be consistent, if you're going to use the English versions, O Dalaigh should be O'Daly!

I'd like to thank the people whose comments gave me presidents beside De Valera.

@Tertonmike: I think you have a good point, and I add an l to make it O'Dally, for more consistency. O'Dally and O'Kelly, and/or O'Dalaigh and O'Ceallaigh. What about it, someone else...?

This quiz bigtime sucks, man. You need to make it accept the spellings without the accent marks. It's not like we're writing a frick'n book here, ya know.

No. Bertie was a c*** of a Taoiseach/PM. Gonna need a new one on the list come Friday. I'm gonna cry if it's one of Dana/Gallagher/Mitchell.

Spellings screwed me over with Mary McAleese, Patrick Hillery and Sean O'Kelly. I knew them all but I tried saying McAlesse, Hillary and Kelly instead. :/
