Jennifer Aniston is spelled as such. Great quiz, though.

Not bad Dunaway.
Comment below threshold:

Without a source, this is completely based on your opinion.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 05:42 GMT
So much scrolling!
Nov 1st, 2009 at 05:51 GMT
Also, you seem to have taken many of these descriptions directly from other quizzes.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 05:58 GMT
A good quiz, but I agree with RS89--describe it as "famous people" rather than "the most famous people", and I know I read the Federline clue somewhere else on Sporcle.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 06:19 GMT
Use shorter clues and try changing column widths to make the layout smaller so there won't be so much scrolling.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 06:43 GMT
It's kind of confusing that some of these "famous people" are actually imaginary characters, and others are the actors that played those imaginary characters ... and Joe Rogan? Not exactly as famous as some of the others....
Nov 1st, 2009 at 07:01 GMT
besides the high amount of scrolling involved, fun quiz.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 07:05 GMT
You really need to split this in two. And try using 3 columns instead of 5. More should fit on a page that way.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 07:08 GMT
calling them "the most famous" is so very stupid
Nov 1st, 2009 at 07:56 GMT
fantastic game. missed all teh US sport clues (except a couple that i got through typing in other answers). need to sort out the scrolling though.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 10:15 GMT
Good idea, but could there be anymore US sports/morning television questions?!
Nov 1st, 2009 at 13:33 GMT
You can zoom out/shrink text.

Is it sad that I managed 95/125 and forgot John Lennon? Yes, yes it is.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 15:09 GMT
The thing I hate about these epic-scale quizzes is I always miss a couple of answers I knew but glossed over due to being overwhelmed by the scope of the quiz. Regardless, it was suitably epic.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 15:22 GMT
Alright to answer a few questions... Yes i took most of the hints from other quizzes, it was the easiest way to get names fast, otherwise it would have taken a long time to make. I changed it so it didnt say most famous, but to my credit i used the top five people from every quiz so you could make the argument they are the five most popular. I understand the problem with the scrolling, i made the font small and the columns tiny but there isnt much else i can do. if you have any other suggestions please tell me. making it three columns instead of five only makes it worse.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 17:07 GMT
Fine quiz, too bad it's hard to improve the scrolling issue. Spelling corrections:
Cox, Something about
without a cause,
receiver (lower-case i, in the leading rec. TD clue).
Nov 1st, 2009 at 17:32 GMT
on the dan qb question - fouts should also be acceptable, as dan fouts is an nfl qb...i realize you may say "most famous", but in reality, not a lot of these are that famous...
Nov 1st, 2009 at 18:01 GMT
Dunaway, what I would do is drop one of your categories altogether (leaving 24 of them instead of 25). Then, limit your columns to four columns instead of five. With the correct ratio between length of the 'Hint' column and length of the 'Answer' column, they'll actually take up less space and make scrolling easier. Just a suggestion.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 18:01 GMT
I love how I got Jennifer Garner by absent-mindedly typing Kevin Garnett.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 18:26 GMT
Nice idea but far too much scrolling.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 20:12 GMT
Agreed that "Hall of Fame Quarterback" named Dan should accept Fouts as well as Marino.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 21:52 GMT
haha, I didn't realize there was more than one row and skipped tons of them.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 22:22 GMT
Maybe you should include Dirty Harry as an acceptable answer.
Nov 1st, 2009 at 22:37 GMT
james brown never sang for motown bro
Nov 2nd, 2009 at 03:55 GMT
This quiz is very male-centric.
Nov 2nd, 2009 at 04:43 GMT
Jamaican musician who's hits included 'I Shot the Sheriff' and 'One Love' Should be Whose, not who's, which means who is. Also, for not making things like JFK or many other answers acceptable, you shouldn't make David acceptable for Larry David. David comes before Larry so you might as well not even have Larry David on there since it's basically a give in and no one can miss it. You also need to change the clue because that is way too vague. How about creator of Seinfeld or star of Curb Your Enthusiasm??? The clues definitely have room for an improvement. And what's with, "Dancer who married Britney Spears, and uh... not really sure why he's famous..." I definitely saw that EXACT same clue in the famous kevins quiz.
Nov 2nd, 2009 at 04:45 GMT
Ah, well I take that last part back after seeing your earlier post about purposely copying other peoples' clues.
Nov 2nd, 2009 at 16:23 GMT
again, i used the clues from all the other quizzes on sporcle so if anybody thinks the clues are too vague or too long i didn't write them, and for the Larry David thing that alyr57 brought up, most people just type in the last names of the people because the first name is already given to you. If Larry David was a giveaway then why has only 46% of people at this time gotten him?
Nov 3rd, 2009 at 22:29 GMT
needed about 30-60 more seconds
Nov 6th, 2009 at 22:39 GMT
Poor "Dirty" Harry Callahan :(
Nov 23rd, 2009 at 04:51 GMT
My brain is in a knot. I loved the quiz. Didn't do so great, but hey, fun quiz.
Dec 15th, 2009 at 05:27 GMT
consider accepting "dirty harry" for "harry callahan."
Jun 4th, 2010 at 21:34 GMT
