Some of the kingdom names are not precisely accurate: Norway was Danish until 1814 when it was ceded to Sweden; the Austrian Empire was transformed into Austria-Hungary in 1867; the Papal States were incorporated into Italy in 1870 leaving the Pope with only the Vatican; and Germany as an Empire was established in 1871 (with the Prussian King as Emperor).

What about Sardinia, the Two Sicilies, and the lesser German Kingdoms (Bavaria, Hanover, Wurttemberg, Saxony)?

^Good call. I forgot how fractured Italy and Germany were.

Is there a reason why you don't accept "Jerome" without the accent marks?

@severian: I merely forgot to type in the accent less form as an alternate answer, and it is now fixed. I also added Louis Bonaparte, and I now believe this quiz has all the European realms that had a king/queen/emperor/tsar/sultan at any point in the 1800s. (The Kingdom of Lombardy-Venezia was held by the Emperors of Austria.)
