All you have to do is name all the NFL teams and you'll get perfect.
Oct 3rd, 2009 at 19:55 GMT
A quiz that gives 1 minute to name the 500-win or 400-win teams would be better.
Oct 3rd, 2009 at 20:07 GMT
Yeah, good points. I changed it to make people guess the teams in order...you can still just cycle through teams but your guesses have to be smarter to do it in time.

need 5 minutes since it is in order

The Vikings are now at 400 as of 10/11/09. You can add them as well.

fun game, but perhaps a bit too much time i felt
Jan 23rd, 2010 at 18:53 GMT
I don't think this is necessary to add the former locations in parentheses. You didn't put that the Bears and Lions used to be in Decatur and Portsmouth.
Jan 23rd, 2010 at 19:58 GMT
One minute should be more than enough.

I have a question... do playoff wins count?
Comment below threshold:

If we're counting where they used to be, shouldn't the Ravens technically count, because all those Browns wins are for the Ravens franchise?
Jan 23rd, 2010 at 23:53 GMT
No, the new Browns are the same as the old Browns. When they moved to Baltimore, they had to relinquish all claims to past records of the team and had to start anew as, officially, an expansion team.

its funny how each of these teams except for the raiders who are last were in the nfl before 1960. also, every team in the nfc east and north are here (vikings should be here) and nobody from the nfc south.

It would nice if this quiz was updated.
Jan 27th, 2010 at 04:05 GMT
Only 1 original AFC team on the list, which of course makes sense.
Jan 28th, 2010 at 17:12 GMT
needs one minute only
Jan 28th, 2010 at 18:07 GMT
No cocky, I am pretty sure that while the Ravens did not claim the Browns' wins, the new expansion Browns in 1999 were an expansion team entirely. Neither team should be on here (unless before the Browns moved they had hit 400 wins).

Good Quiz! I always type niners for 49ers and it wouldn't take that. Just me being lazy! Thanks!
Jan 29th, 2010 at 17:39 GMT
Oh my god, my Eagles have only recently passed the Lions. Not sure which is worse between no superbowl victories or this new little factoid.
Aug 9th, 2010 at 22:14 GMT
The Cowboys and Vikings are doing pretty well for being the (relative) new kids.
Jan 22nd, 2011 at 07:30 GMT
The quiz should accept "Niners", as the official legal name of the team is "Forty Niners". Also, as of the end of the 2010 regular season New England has qualified for this list, and Kansas City and Miami will likely qualify during the next full season of play (whenever that may be). A good source is to go to pro-football-reference.com, and click on "teams".
