| Hi all- I read your comments and have changed the quiz. Accents are no longer necessary (but optional in some places) and I took the Cyrillic and Greek away.@ dancastro: the reason it appeared as 'Noreg' was because that was the first in the set of possible answers that I typed, and although 'norge' was second and did not appear as the answer it was accepted. I apologise about the België, I don't know why it didn't appear but it should have unless it was the same thing as 'noreg/norge' i.e. België was accepted but because I typed Belgien, the German word, as the first answer that would have appeared. Also sorry about the Ö, the idea was to copy and paste it into the answer bar but I appreciate I should probably have written 'copy and paste this into your answer'
@ chriskotx: I wasn't expecting them to, just giving them that option if it's easier for them e.g. if they use the Cyrillic or Greek alphabet normally, and also just to make the quiz a bit more interesting. However I see it wasn't very popular and have removed it and the accents.
I have put a lot more countries in so now I (think) I have all of Europe, although my worry is that there are now too many? I felt it would not be fair to leave out little-known countries e.g. Latvia, Lithuania as while not very famous they are still part of Europe. Although I suppose even if you don't get the answer, it's still interesting to learn.
Please keep the comments coming, I want to make this quiz as good and fun as possible :D |
