	This was quite a bit of work to put together even with maps to help. Obviously I have left some stuff off the bulk of the quiz to make it playable, but there are over 60 bonus answers for the true geek. Any comments on spelling/alternate names/missing answers would be greatly appreciated!

	Might want to accept "Khazad-dum" as well as "bridge of...". Also, I kept trying Buckleberry Ferry. I guess that's not how it's spelled, but it'd be nice.

	Some suggestions: Typing just Weathertop doesn't work, and perhaps having just Tom Bombodil as an acceptable answer? I also tried Maggot's Field, Farmer Maggot, and other variations. Maybe just his name. And maybe Lothlorien for Lorien.

	Cerin Amroth, not Carin. I wanted Crickhollow as a place (it may have been a bonus?) but I think that the Brandywine River and Bucklebury Ferry are redundant. And since your answer columns are uneven, I'd suggest adding Eregion/Hollin. Another thought is that since the quiz is very Fellowship-of-the-Ring-centric, you may just want to succumb and make this one for the first book...and make two more quizzes!

	Very good idea! I like it a lot. I agree that Bucklebury Ferry, Brandywine, and Crickhollow are redundant (and Crickhollow is no more specific than Maggot's farm, either) - I would have Bucklebury (the town that Crickhollow is in, not the ferry specifically) be an answer with all of those as alternates. Also agreed that Eregion/Hollin should be included, and on the spelling of Cerin Amroth. I would add Dimril Dale as an alternate for Moria East Gate, and possibly Rauros Falls for Parth Galen, although that's debatable. I'm hoping for more! Either broken down by book, or following other characters!

	I agree with the combinations. At the outset, the books are very detailed about places but that detail is lost as the tale becomes more epic (widening scope and all). I will make more LOTR quizzes, but not sure if they will be on the same topic.

	I was surprised that Henneth Annun was not an answer (or a bonus) - where Faramir's men have their hideout in Ithilien? At least one chapter is entirely dedicated to what happens there. My husband and I did have a lot of fun with this, though! :)

	I appreciate that minor locations are skipped for brevity, but why is the Shire/Eriador so detailed when you leave out places like Shelob's Lair, the Mountains of Shadow, and the Plains of Gorgoroth? I think they should be included as well.

	Keep up the feedback! @jroccoj: Shelob's Lair and Gorgoroth were in the original version, but I felt they weren't distinct enough to fit in with the quiz. For example, Gorgoroth is a pretty big area and Shelob's Lair is really a part of Cirith Ungol. But since you brought it up I'll do some more parsing. And I will add the names of the trolls!

	I now that I recall that I left out Shelob's Lair because Cirith Ungol translates as "Pass of the Spider" and that seemed too redundant. But it is back in.

	Please, please also accept "The House of Tom Bombadil" or simply house of Bombadil, which was what I first thought to type. It is the title of the chapter, after all.

	I just played it again and found a few more things. Imladris is the Elven name of Rivendell, frequently used, that should be an alternate. The rarely used Quenya name for Mount Doom is Amon Amarth, and if you add that I will love you forever. xD Also, Rivendell is not a city, that is a common misconception further perpetuated by the films. The only building there is Elrond's last homely house. (Look up Tolkien's painting of Rivendell if you don't believe me) It's an estate, basically. It should be a "site" not a "city" although perhaps site/city since the idea is so widespread might be a bit more fair... Anyway, I just want to say that I adore this quiz and it deserves to be published. Thank you so much! I'm sure this took a good bit of time and effort!

	Great quiz! I only got seven bonuses, though. I'm obviously not as geeky as I could be. :P Oh, and when I typed "Tom", the answer "Stone Trolls" popped up. Not sure why.

	presumably kaiser is pointing out that having tried to type in tom bombadil's house, he has been given a correct answer he didn't deserve. especially since you can't really call the site "tom the stone troll" or "tom the troll's wood", please remove the names of the trolls from that answer. please also add seat of seeing for amon hen it took me a good 3 minutes to remember the actual name. also, i don't particularly like the two extra moria answers, it is like having the front door of rivendell and the back door of rivendell as separate answers. moria covers it all. i presume this is the reason for taking "bridge of khazad-dum" out, so you obviously agree. please put hollin in instead, because technically all the time they are sitting trying to work out the password of the gates of moria, they are sitting in the realm of hollin. and dimrill dale is an excellent answer, it could also be known as the mirrormere.

	Ooh I like this quiz. But I typed in "the house of Tom Bombadil" and variations without getting it right. I think the chapter title in the book is "in the house of Tom Bombadil", so it might make sense to accept that, or even just his name...
