	The phrase "under God" was incorporated into the Pledge of Allegiance June 14, 1954, by a Joint Resolution of Congress amending §7 of the Flag Code enacted in 1942.[16] (From Wikipedia entry for "Pledge of Allegiance.")

	You have to commend these brave sporclers for sacrificing their hard earned scores on an internet quiz site so that they can take the brave stand of not having to type the words "under God" in the name of Atheism. Keep up the good fight, guys.

	How does the first amendment guarantee us freedom FROM religion? Are you saying all these churches around me are unconstitutional? What about these billboards (bought and paid for by customers) that preach random things about Jesus and God? Are they unconstitutional as well?

	I didn't make some sort of stand by not including the "under God" when I took the quiz, but if we're going to be political, I agree that the phrase doesn't belong there. The addition was nothing but political grandstanding in the first place, and it is a violation of the separation of church and state.

	Ever since I was old enough to form an opinion on anything, I've detested the pledge in general. While some may complain about those two words, I don't think it should be recited in schools at all. It is nothing short of political indoctrination, which the U.S. government has always said is wrong when OTHER countries do it.
