	I agree with the former but not the latter. The War of Northern Aggression is what supporters of the Lost Cause of the Confederacy call it.

	Please accept "First Punic War" and "1st Punic War", maybe even simply "Punic War". Also, the quiz still doesn't seem to accept "American Civil War".

	Technically, these are not "causes". Some may be the beginning events of the war, but there is no single cause to most of these wars.

	I understand what you are saying. However, if I put the actual causes, they would all be either man tries to take over world, man tries to stake his claim to a country, or any variation of the two.

	Any historian will cringe if you try and claim that the assassination of Franz Ferdinand is "the cause" of the First World War. The true causes were embedded in European politics for decades before the start of the war.

	I am fully aware of the imperialist tendencies and tangling of alliances within the European continent so don't think I don't know. I try to put either immediate causes or what lit the fuse to the powder keg.

	I think Franz Ferdinand should stand, and yes I am a European history major who knows plenty about the First World War. The creator of the quiz obviously knows about the history of these wars and is working with catalysts. The true causes of each of these wars would require several books apiece - impractical for a seven-minute quiz.

	Why is "Spanish-American" accepted but I had to type out "Meixcan-American War" you should be more consistent. Also you should accept "30 Years War" instead of spelling out thirty

	Nice quiz, I really like this sort of thing. However, you've made quite a big mistake in one of hints: The Punic wars didn't start because of Roman imperialism. The fuse in the proverbial powderkeg was when the Mamertines(Campanian mercenaries, thus allied to Rome) asked the Romans for help against Hiero II of Syracuse. Ironically the Roman Senate deliberated for quite a while after the end of the First Punic war as to whether they should annex Sicily.

	As i said earlier, I'm trying to avoid the hyper-specifics. If I paid attention to detail, the hints would be far longer and much more confusing.

	Now that you accept "first world war" and "second world war" you've got them the wrong way round. I had to type the former to get Germany invading Poland and the latter to get Ferdinand.
