There could be an argument for including Ireland in the rugby list as the IRFU covers the whole island

Great quiz! Possibly accept “UK Virgin Islands” as well as “British…”, and just “Man” for “Isle of Man”?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guadeloupe_football_team maybe Guadeloupe? It's a French island in the Caribbean with it's only soccer team (and presumably other sports)

I took a look at the bell curve and decided to add an extra minute. Also added the alternate to Faroe and Great Britain to the IOC. @Illini13: Guadeloupe is a member of CONCACAF, but not of FIFA. There are several teams that are members of one of the six confederations, but aren't in FIFA. @dxdtdemon: They may have in the past, but there are currently 2 separate teams - Korea and DPR Korea.

While the Olympic team is called Great Britain, athletes from Northern Ireland are also included in the contigent. It is a misnomer. So really, it is the same county as Sporcle's "United Kingdom" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Britain_at_the_Olympics

Is "England" (not a Sporcle country) in rugby the same as "England and Wales" (not a Sporcle country)? If so, maybe you could accept "England" but print "England & Wales" as the answer (as you do, for example, with "West Indies" or "Ireland").

It seems like "Chinese Taipei" should be at least a bonus answer for IOC nations. While it is geographically equivalent to Taiwan (or "The Republic of China"), it is the name Taiwan competes under at the Olympics.

I spent so much time trying to remember the 'B' of ABC Islands, just to find out after the quiz (and a Google search) that Bonaire isn't even an answer.

Damn, I always get Cook Islands, Cocos Islands and (for some reason) Christmas Island mixed up even though they're 6000 miles apart. Well, at least I learned something! Now I just need to learn to spell 'Caicos'. Great quiz, and congrats!

There is a glitch with Turks and Caicos Islands. It only came up for one of the two categories. The results show a small discrepency too. The (U.S.) Virgin Islands is very confusing. I knew that the olympic nation was just called the Virgin Islands so surely as I have identified the nation all answers should follow, otherwise you have to include Chinese Taipei to be consistent. There is a strong argument that Ireland should be a full answer (for rugby and cricket) as this does not correlate with a recognised nation). Similarly England and Wales for cricket as this is distinct from the separate countries in rugby and football. It is a really clever idea for a quiz.

Isn't Aruba one of the Netherlands Antilles? If so, then when 'Netherlands Antilles' is typed in, it should accept Aruba. I got Netherlands Antilles and didn't think that any list would have any individual islands of the Netherlands Antilles.

@SomeoneRandom: Aruba left the Netherlands Antilles in 1986. The Netherlands Antilles ceased to exist in 2010. All former parts of the Netherlands are now part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

As mentioned above in cricket it is the England & Wales combined cricket team and not just England. Although looking at the players nationalities the England, Ireland and South Africa cricket board would be more fitting.

Could you change the instructions to make it clear what an "entity" is? I had no idea what you were looking for in the quiz. After looking at the answers I assume you're looking for protectorates, territories, and miscellaneous islands that aren't considered countries?
