| I really like the quiz; I knew all this stuff from about seventh to eighth grade and now, I am sixteen years old. One day, I would like a whole lot of people, nation wide, to know that I know this at a young age.
However, I would like YOU, THE CREATOR to know that Zachary Taylor was TECHNICALLY inagurated on Monday, March 5, 1849. This was due, because, he was nominated to be our 12th president on Sunday, March 4, 1849. He did not want to be inagurated on a Sunday, so a person of the name: David Rice Atchison, was president of the United States of America for only one day. He said he slept during his one-day-term because he was in a meeting late the previous night. Thus, according to history, Zachary Taylor was inagurated the next day on Monday, March 5, 1849. |
