| @ChanandlerBong: The Official name for the structure where the bell Big Ben is housed is The Clock Tower. It is also, unofficially, known as St Stephens Tower. Because that is its official name, it cannot be compared to calling the Empire State Building 'skyscraper'. Whilst it would possibly be churlish to say that Big Ben should not be accepted, it is perhaps akin to saying that England or Great Britain should be accepted as an alternative to UK on one of the countries quizzes and not accepting UK. |
