| Your original team is the team you first play in MLB for, not the team in whose farm system you start.
As for the quiz, good idea, but here are some that were bad ideas for inclusion, and why: Johnny Damon has '803' after his name, meaning he played a whole bunch of seasons for his first team. He may have come to greater prominence afterward, but he played for the first team for a good long time, and was a well-known player then. So it's a bad inclusion. Selanne is another one, and probably even a worse case. Selanne was a STAR for his first team. That's where he made his name. Allan Houston for the Pistons is another sorta bad inclusion, as are Kidd and Bettis, who were very famous and successful on their original teams, however short the stay was. Same with McGrady, really.
Actually as I go on, there's maybe only half of a good quiz here. Randy Johnson, Hasek, Pedro, Favre, Hull are all in the spirit of the quiz. Good answers there. But the ones I named, no good. |
