You might want to add something more up-to-date that isn't from that Dan Brown trash. Other than that, fun quiz.

Humbert Humbert should totally be on here.

Embarrassed to say I tried "Jonathan Dracula."

I had no idea Charlotte had a last name.

Now if you had given me 'Yossarian' and asked for his first name, I would have been SOL.

Although this is a very nice quiz, something very similar, including some of the same answers, was published last Thursday.

Definitely tried "Spider" for Charlotte.
I feel like the people in those Bing commercials. My thought process was something like: "Holden...McGroin? Winston...Churchill? Elizabeth...Swan? Guy...Fawkes?" |

Put me in the group of people who didn't know Charlotte had a last name and immediately tried "Spider." And to be honest, I'd never even heard of The Chrysalids until taking this quiz.

Thanks for the quiz. But I wish you had used Major Major Major Major for Catch 22.

First mention of The Chrysalids since Grade 11 English... I need to find that book again.

Should accept Darcy for Elizabeth Bennet because I believe she gets married at the end.

zaprowsdower is right. just eyeballing it, there are 10 duplicate character names from the quiz from a couple days ago.
| TinyIrishPirate: | Feb 23rd, 2011 at 00:12 GMT | | 2 points |
This is probably a nitpick, but technically Lucy doesn't have a last name in LWW. The last name of Pevensie isn't used at all in the first book. The first time it appears is in Prince Caspian.

| "That Devinel guy sure is good at making quizzes"
*Cough *Cough Who said that? |

All I remember about Wuthering Heights is that there were about three names shared by about six characters, and that confused me immensely when I had to read it in high school.

@imclala - I tried Spider, Spiderson, Zweb and Sweb, and then gave up.

Ya got me with "The Lost Symbol". Once I saw the answer "Robert Langdon", it wasn't hard to figure out that there must have been a sequel to "The Da Vinci Code" that I wasn't aware of. Now I know.

The only Lucy I could remember was "van Pelt".

The Chrysalids?!?!? WOW, could we have some more obscurity, please!!
| thewildboo: | Oct 5th, 2011 at 20:44 GMT | | 1 point |
That right there is a lot of books I never read! I only got four, and one only because it's my middle & last name and people sometimes point it out to me.

Ah The Outsiders a classic. Loved the book and the movie! Read it in 7th grade!

Can't believe I missed Capt. Yossarian. I've never read the book, but the name (in relation to the book) is almost like a collocation to me for some reason.

I'm proud of myself for remembering Charlotte A. Cavatica!

I put in "Zedmore" for Winston, 1984, thinking of the 1984 film "Ghostbusters." Not what they were looking for, apparently.

I tried "Jean Prouvaire" to see if you would accept that one too. No luck.

I almost tried "Bloom" for "Leopold", but then I thought, no, that was the character in The Producers. Turns out they both had the same name. Weird...
