| Also your method doesn't provide a good way of measuring whether a film was liked or not. For example, if 15 people saw and voted on Bride Wars, 10 liked it and 5 did not, it would have a final score of +6. On the other hand, if only 5 people saw and voted on Taken, but all 5 liked it, it would also have a score of +6. You would think both movies were rated the same by viewers, when in fact only 66% of the people who saw Bride Wars liked it, while 100% of Taken viewers liked the movie. (I haven't seen either movie so I don't know if this is true or not, just an example.) You can't really use the data for any purpose. |
