The fact that my ancestry is in large part from Denmark makes it quite embarrassing that I keep missing Denmark.

Looks like the Scandinavian countries are amazingly generous considering their economies are generally smaller than USA, UK, Japan, etc. It'd be interesting to have the same quiz but with the amount of aid expressed as a % of GDP.

It is amazing that all these countries give out so much economic aid, whilst continuing to let in millions of immigrants from the rest of the world. Seems incredibly altruistic.

And usually the countries you dont see on this list that wreak the most havoc on the world and never contribute to the good of all people but then whine when disaster strikes them.

Crazy to see how the US has about 20 times the number of inhabitants of the Netherlands, while they only give away five times more... Totally agree w/ laughing_mariner.

@xref: what about China having four times as many people as the US and not even making the list?

china is not rich yet and china dosent give away details like that. it probably is on par with NORTH AMERICAN aid added up - have you seen how much its investing in the world - especially africa.
